Absolutely incredible from the boys in red, coming home form Dublin as Pro12 champions 2017!

Saving their best for the finale, Llanelli Scarlets just beat Munster away to win the Pro12 for the first time in thirteen long years, last winning in 2004. I am still gobsmacked at the quality, and style of rugby we were spoilt with. The finesse exhibited against such a solid team was simply incredible and I couldn’t be happier that the boys finished with such style.

If you haven’t already, have a look at some of these tries. To see that perfectly weighted kick over the top, landing in the hands of Liam Williams before the try inside the first ten minute is really something else. Munster looked shook and didn’t know what to do with themselves, which is unusual for a side with such calibre especially playing in the Aviva stadium. Then followed just moments later be another try created by Jonathan Davies in open play, an area where he is an expert to say the least.

The Irish men looked like they were going for the comeback but after a few more tries from the Scarlets there was no coming back.

A well deserved nights rest before returning to parc y scarlets as Champions – well done boys.
